Singapore Technologies Marine (ST Marine) introduced a line of offshore patrol vessels at the Singapore Airshow.

The boats, known as the New Generation Offshore Patrol Vessel (NGOPV), are based on the Fearless-class hull form, but feature an extended length that can fit a helicopter landing dock.
The hull design of the 95 m craft is touted as having been optimised and model-tested for high-speed performance. The shipbuilder has also promised long-range fuel economy at cruising speed.

Speaking to IHS Janes's on 9 February, ST Marine Vice President for Marketing Siow Chee Khiang said the NGOPV was "suitable for countries looking to secure their maritime boundaries.
